The Oregon Broadband Outreach and Strategic Planning Project is managed by the Public Utility Commission, Business Oregon and the Broadband Advisory Council to promote broadband strategic planning and accelerate broadband development across Oregon.

The project is part of the State Broadband Data and Development Program and has been funded through an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) grant administered through the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.

Eight Oregon communities have been selected to develop broadband strategic plans that will support the adoption and utilization of broadband in their respective community.
